Drum roll, please!! #TeamFYC is thrilled to announce the 2022 winners of the Face of FYC competition.
Hundreds of you submitted your pictures for the chance to be crowned as our champion… And what a beautiful bunch you are! We had a really hard time shortlisting the entries, and invited around 25 contenders to take part in the finals at BOSS Models HQ in Manchester.
Every finalist had a chance to meet the team, be interviewed by BOSS Model Management’s specialists, have their pictures taken and try out their catwalk skills. After much deliberation, our winners were announced!
There were so many amazing people that we couldn’t just choose one. So – with no further ado – the winners of the Face of FYC 2022 are….
The Adults:
Winner – Nikita Best / Age 20 / Bedford
Runner up – Shay Collins / Age 27 / Liverpool
The Juniors:
Girls winner – Lala / Age 6 / Manchester
Girls runner up – L’Nyah / Age 6 / Preston
Boys winner – Raeus / Age 9/ Preston
Boys runner up – Roman / Age 6 / East Yorkshire
FYC co-founder Robert Binns said: “FYC is not just about curl-management, it’s also about giving the mixed-race community something especially for them and their unique curls and coils. Our winners really represent the brand and its values, and we’re looking forward to working with them all very soon.”
Lauren Mellor, New Faces Director of BOSS Models, added: “’We were so impressed by all of the finalists, not just because they look great but because they all have such a great attitude, and of course, great curls. We’re thrilled to announce all of the winners, and look forward to working with them in the future’.
