Best refresh spray I've tried... but you have to wait for the fragrance to wear off!

I haven’t had much luck with refresh sprays in the past – they make my hair sticky and matted – but I wanted to give this a go to try the whole FYC range. I tried it on day 2 (after using FYC shampoo, conditioner and leave-in on wash day). My curls were still shiny and defined, but just beginning to drop a little. I sprayed the mid-lengths and ends quite generously with the refresh spray until they were damp, scrunched, and left them to dry.

Firstly – the pump trigger is AMAZING!! This may seem irrelevant, but the number of refresh sprays that have a terrible pump are unbelievable! The pump gives great distribution of a good amount of product. Please don’t ever change the pump!!! 😊

I was a bit worried at first about the fragrance which seemed much stronger than the shampoo/conditioner/leave-in, but after an hour or so it had worn off.

Once it had dried, my hair was definitely much curlier again, and more importantly, not at all sticky or matted. I might just have found my “go to” refresh spray!

(For context, in case it's useful: I have almost waist-length, bleach highlighted, wavy (2a-2c) curls, and have been following the Curly Girl Method for a couple of years).
