I used the FYC bundle on my 3c curls and my son's 2b waves with great results on both hair types.
The leave-in conditioner is very thick so I mixed it with water. It required a bit of experimenting to determine the right concentration, but it was worth the effort. I've tried practically every curl cream on the market and this one is absolutely the best of the lot!!! I use it on damp hair and leave it to dry naturally, but sometimes I partially dry my hair with a diffuser and that looks great too. Zero frizz!
The shampoo is also fantastic! A small amount cleans really well and it doesn't strip hair of oils.
The conditioner was easy to use on my son's waves, but I had to thin it with water before applying it to my curlier hair, otherwise it was too thick to disperse evenly. I'm very happy with the result. The shampoo, followed by conditioner, left my hair feeling soft and moisturised and it smells great :)
The refresh & detangle spray rejuvenates curls nicely during washes. It doesn't leave any residue or flakes.
FYC products are gentle. Many other (more expensive) products have irritated my scalp, but I haven't experienced any irritation with FYC. The bundle is a great way to try their products and is amazing value for money.

I waited a while before writing a review as I wanted to give the products a good chance. My honest opinion on this isn’t a great one unfortunately. I really wanted these products to be great for my hair, but they weren’t. I found from even the first use that the shampoo would tangle and dry out my hair so bad when washing and that I would have to coat my hair in the conditioner to try and detangle my hair and give it some sort of softness back. But even then once I finished washing my hair it would still be so dry and knotty. I also noticed that after washing my scalp would be really red in patches over my scalp.
Over time of using the product it caused my scalp to become extremely dry and brittle and sore. Maybe the product works for some but it really didn’t work for me. I used the product a total of 6 times in hope something would change for me but it did not, just got worst… I ended up binning the products.

Our hair type differs in this household, from 3bish to 4a/4b and different textures (course or silkier, fine and thick, fluffy or smooth) and it actually seems like it works well for all. The detangler feels a bit horrible when it first goes on...sort of crunchyish, but once it sinks in a bit and you start brushing or combing it's fine. Don't use a lot though.
The conditioner is really thick which I like, but whilst it is thick it is still easy to rinse out.
I really like the shampoo, it doesn't feel like it strips the hair. I have tried this after an oil pre poo and it washes the oil out well.
The leave in conditioner is quite moisturising. I usually use aunt Jackie's oil to seal so I tried the leave in without the oil just so I could get a real picture on how it works alone and it did work well.
All the products are quite thick really- the conditioner and leave in especially, but they're surprisingly lightweight. Usually with these sort of thick products you'd expect it to weigh down the hair. This doesn't at all. It feels like it soaks in all the good stuff and the heavy stuff just disappears.
Some people (including myself) like heavier products for days they want more definition as lightweight just doesn't cut it. This gave me definition even though it's lightweight.
I like to wash as normal and then use the detangler and leave in between washes to refresh curls and remove tangles/finger detangle. I tried to use just the detangler without the leave in and it was still fine.
I'd definitely recommend this line. Lightweight on the hair once dried but thick enough to actually be doing some moisturising. Smells nice. Detangler comes in a decent spray bottle. Defines curls. Washes well. I'm actually sort of excited about this line now!

I absolutely loved using these new products and my curls absolutely loved them, my curls are soft and bouncy, and my curls are not stringy, I used the leave in conditioner to cowash, then more to condition, and after I used the refresh and derangle spray, then I used my normal hair styling products...then defused upside down until fully dry, SOTC... and boom this!!

I bought your products during lockdown when you had the half price deal. For various reasons I have not had a chance to use them. I had a lot of personal issues and as a result my hair was shedding like a beast I literally would cry at wash day because all of my hair would just fall out, so I ended up cutting about 9 inches off.
I have had a protective style in for the past 2 or so months and was just treating my own with leave ins, in between.
I used your kit for the first time ever this morning on my 3c/4a hair. I took out the protective style & used the detangler there was minimal hair loss (yaaay) I then washed & conditioned then used the leave in & my curls have literally come to life ❤❤ they are popping, soft no tangles and smell absolutely amazing.
I will update some progress pics at a later stage when I’ve used a few times, but thank you, your product has been a life saver, it’s so affordable too I doubt I’ll go else where for my hair care needs now

So we finally used all the products on my daughters hair, she is one who throws her hair into a scruffy bun for the easiest results, and doesn’t often wear her hair down due to humidity and the frizz she is left with, tonight she has had a full hot oil treatment, then her hair washed using FYC shampoo and conditioner, we used both the refresh & detangle spray and the leave in conditioner, her curls are fab and more defined and her hair smells BEAUTIFUL, I can smell her hair in every room she goes into , We Love it, her hair isn’t fully dry on the picture but her curls are still Amazing

These products are heavily perfumed and left our hair feeling crispy.
We used the leave in conditioner on damp and dry hair with the same result.
The shampoo and conditioner barely conditions, and certainly doesn't detangle.
I think these products are for looser curls and are not suitable for our hair types.

This is so much more than a product. It’s a whole service and customer experience. I was having issues with products and how to get a good routine. They gave me a personal call with exceptional advice and ideas to try. When part worked and part didn’t they came back and helped further. They don’t push their products - if it’s not broke don’t fix it is their Moto. If you have a product that works don’t change it but perhaps something they have can compliment your routine and that’s exactly what it did for us. We stuck with our current shampoo and conditioner but switched to this leave in and detangle spray and my daughters hair has been transformed from a matted mess to luscious locks. Excellent customer service and above and beyond any brand out there.

Absolutely love these products, the shampoo and conditioner are really gentle on my hair and scalp & leave my hair lovely and soft. The tangle spray is an absolute god send, I use this after washing before combing through, and on non wash days to refresh my curls. The leave in conditioner doesn’t leave your hair tacky or crispy but because my hair is fine I don’t use a lot: I won’t use anything else on my hair now, after 48 years of battling with curly hair products and wasting a lot of money I’ve finally found good value products that work perfectly for me, the only problem is my daughter now won’t use anything else in her hair either, so I have to buy her some too!

Love These Products! I found FYC via Instagram and saw they were running a great offer for their bundle. I took advantage and ordered, and was so impressed with how fast they arrived. I went into my washday knowing I was going to try the whole line-up and only that. I usually style with curl cream and gel/mousse, but wanted to see how the FYC products worked on their own. I was definitely unsure how my hair would turn out without my usual styling products, but wow was I surprised! The hold and cast I was able to get from these four products was amazing, and the definition and volume were superb too! I think it is important to remember that it takes a few washdays to figure out how much product works for you, as well as experimenting with different styling techniques.
